There's a lot of people that deserves credit for the creation of EliteScores.com, so this page is for them!

The Elite
First of all, I'd like to thank the GE/PD Elite community at The-Elite.net which I joined in April, 2001. They gave me the idea for this page, so without them there would be no SMB Elite and later EliteScores.com.

Derek Kisman
Secondly, Derek Kisman (SnapDragon) deserves thanks. He made me a small program that converted records that were in a text file to an HTML format. Without it, updating in the early days would've been much more difficult. He also helped me with the Super Monkey Ball game/level information, as I didn't have the game until it was released in Europe.

Tim
The most influencial person for the SMB Elite is Tim (Reynard Muldrake). Things looked gloomy when in April, 2002 I was drafted into the army (yeah, we still do that in Norway). Luckily, Tim made a really neat program that downloaded scores from the message board and sorted them into rankings. This was a huge improvement from the previous method which was to download scores from the forum into Microsoft Excel, sort them and save them as text, run SnapDragon's program and then upload everything. Not only did Tim make the ingenious program, he also volunteered to update the Elite while I was in the army. Along with Ferret Druid, he made sure everything was ok on the message board during that time. Tim updated for a long time even after that, and he is still a valuable resource to me whenever I need help with programming.

Moderators
Ferret Druid and Tim were the first moderators of the message board, fixing the board when it was down and making sure everything else was doing ok. My thanks to them, and also to Meleekid for updating for some time and to Kamikazemario for updating the SMB 2 PAL rankings. A big thanks to Miles, who has been a moderator since August 2006 and still is. During that time he has done most of the everyday work around here.

Others
In addition, I would like to thank iDMA and Cck for having and updating the strategies site, and Scott Kessler (sdkess) for maintaining a video site where all the best SMB vids are hosted! And lastly, JonJons has done a great job running the SMB Summer Olympics!
